Day 1: Overnight Camel Trek from Erg Chebbi dunes – Sunset – SandBoarding – Night in Standard / Luxury Berber tents on the edge of the Desert
This trip of 2 nights camel trekking in Merzouga begins in the afternoon between 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm (the time changes according to seasons and arrival to the Merzouga area).
The first overnight camel trek night camel ride can start also from the Merzouga area where we will welcome you in our Riad to have a tasty tea after then you will have time to change and use the bathrooms if needed.
Our Riad in Merzouga has GPS access with free safe parking. Then we will drive you to the Golden Dunes of Erg Chebbi Where your cameleers are waiting to pick you up as a caravan to the edge of the dunes where you will enjoy the Sunset and take amazing pictures to remember for a lifetime. Also, you will have the opportunity to experience the sandboard.
Thereafter you will be taken to the Desert Camp where you will have a delicious dinner (vegetarian and vegan food is available). Day 2: Erg Chebbi Dunes – The clack desert – Berber Nomad family – Camel ride to the camp
We will wake up early morning to watch the sunrise at the highest dunes, and after breakfast in the desert camp, we will ride the camels to visit a Berber nomad family near the border between Morocco and Algeria (45 Km) to discover the real and simple Berber lifestyle you will have lunch with nomad family or in the edge of the sand dunes.
Thereafter we will visit an oasis in the dunes where you have time to relax or mount the highest dunes. Then we will ride the camels to the camp after sunset, have dinner, and overnight in Nomad tents.
